The COMESA certificate of origin is a document issued to the exporter that attests that the exported consignment of product meets the criteria of origin in accordance with the COMESA rules of origin. It is issued by the Ministry of Trade, Transport, Industry and Tourism for exports to COMESA countries (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa).

Obtain the certificate of origin under the Generalized System of Preferences

The Generalized System of Preferences Certificate of Origin is a document issued to the exporter that certifies that the exported batch of product originates from the country benefiting from the preferential treatment under the Generalized System of Preferences Agreement. It is issued by the Ministry of Trade, Transport, Industry and Tourism for exports to countries that have concluded the agreement. These countries are: Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United States of America, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Republic of Hungary, Republic of Poland, Russian Federation, Slovakia, European Union, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
