The Burundi Trade Information Portal (TIP) has two main objectives: the first is to enable Burundi to meet its obligations under the World Trade Organization Agreement on Trade Facilitation (WTO/TF) by publishing online (Art. 1.2) clear and comprehensive information on trade procedures applicable in the country, the second objective being to measure the complexity of trade-related procedures and the impact of trade facilitation reforms in order to simplify them.
